My keen eye watches over those in the day.
They laugh and play and work,
As I protect them from the bitter cold of space.
I awake them from their slumber after dawn,
Their happiness is my happiness.
The light grows darker and they replace each other.
My keen eye watches over those in the night.
They sleep and dance and love,
As I show them there is light even in darkness.
I put them to a deep slumber after dusk,
Their serenity is my serenity.
The darkness grows lighter and they replace each other
Once again.
