Creative Writing Portfolio

My name is Isabella Moreno and I am in my sophomore year of high school. I recently moved from Okinawa, Japan to where I an now, Madison, Alabama.

I enjoy writing about my experiences abroad as well as how tough times made me feel. Writing has always been a way to channel my feelings and see them on paper. They make my problems seem smaller and my triumphs greater.

When I grow up, I want to be a marine biologist because I lived across the street from the East China Sea on Okinawa. I got to see marine life I never thought I would. I hope to help marine conservation and make the issues that are happening in the ocean public.
